Greenland Musical Centre (GMC), founded in 1965, is one of the oldest music records wholesaler and retailer in Malaysia. The present managing director, Chan Tok Joo has opened his first retail shop in China Town at Kuala Lumpur. Since then, it has evolved into one of the largest manufacturers of cassettes and Compact Disks (CD) accessories in Malaysia.
Due to the cataclysmic changes to the record industry as a whole over the past few decades, finding a records shop has been a rarity hunt today. GMC, as the parent company of the EXACT group, is keeping its foot in the records retail industry by running the shop at Bangunan Pak Peng in China Town.
